Book Recommendations

It is so encouraging to know there are fiction books for young girls and boys that also teach Christian principles. These two books from B & H Kids Publishers are perfect for ages 8 to 12.

For Girls:

For Boys:

I have a copy of each of these two books that I would like to give away to the first two people that comment on this post.

And For Moms – This book is by Tsh Oxenreider, a mother of 3 who has managed to live intentionally and simply as her family travels internationally. Her experiences will inspire you to ‘suck all the marrow out of life’ with your children!

Read my review of each of these books on Amazon.

  2. Hi Mrs. Sheilah,
We miss all of you at Dudley, but cherish your weekly emails! Our blog is almost complete so we will send it your way soon. I have got to read this book! We are loving life on the road. Blessings!

  3. Margaret – great to hear from you! I thought of you when I was reading Tsh’s book. Can’t wait to read all about your life on the road! Yall are an inspiration!

  4. Something like the Animal Shape Sorter by Earlyears would be something great as a leanirng toy for your 6-month-old. It has different animal shapes and each has a unique sound. It is also very bright and colorful, so it’s great for babies of that age. Also the IQ Baby Knock-Knock Blocks Soft Blocks, which is a set of 16 soft building blocks. They care colorful, make different sounds, and have interesting windows and doors in the blocks themselves. I think this toy would also be super for your baby. There is also the Soft Blocks Educational Baby Toy by Galt which won the Right Start Best Toy award. I like these types of toys for the real little ones rather than the electronic toys.
