Did Daniel have this much fun in the lion’s den?
For about 15 days and nights there were water balloon battles, sock wars, giggles, loud noise, constant activity, lots of peanut butter sandwiches, many messes which resulted in many baths, fly-a-way popcorn, making of cotton candy and popsicles, story times, toys strewn everywhere, Bible stories, questions, snuggles, hugs, and hearing and saying ‘I love you’ multiple times – just to name a few of the many things that went on at Pop and LaLa Summer Camp.
In the midst of all that fun and activity, we had the opportunity to speak into those three little boys’ lives – the joy of talking to them and singing to them about Jesus, of sharing Bible stories with them, answering their questions, and praying with them each night.
As grandparents we need to take advantage of every opportunity we have with our grandchildren. It is God’s plan for us:
“But watch out! Be very careful never to forget what you have seen God doing for you. May his miracles have a deep and permanent effect upon your lives! Tell your children and your grandchildren about the glorious miracles he did. Deuteronomy 4:9
CAN’T WAIT FOR POP AND LALA SUMMER CAMP 2016!!!!!
