About Me
Sheilah Daws
I am a pastor’s wife. Billy and I married June 12, 1970 and we continue to be very best friends. My husband loves the Word and teaches it better than anyone I have ever known. He is a wonderful example to our children of one who values “God’s Word more than his necessary food” (Job 23:12)
We are blessed to have our 4 children, two daughters-in-love, and 3 grandsons:
Josh – May 2, 1977
Jeremiah – July 8, 1980
Jonathan – January 6, 1984
Mallory – August 5, 1985
Jenny Love – March 13, 1987
Becca – November 19, 1979
Grant William – November 10, 2008
Hudson Alexander – September 23, 2010
Henry David – December 25, 2012
Josh and Becca married in 2001 and have Grant and Hudson.
Jon and Mallory married in 2010 and have Henry.
I have always had a passion to establish God’s Word in children. I extremely enjoyed teaching my own about Jesus. I desire every parent to have no greater joy and privilege than leading their little ones to love Jesus and His Word with their whole hearts. (3 John 1:4)
Children are never too young to begin learning God’s Word. According to 1 Samuel 1:22-23, the first 5 years are to be spent in establishing God’s Word in the child. The young child may not comprehend what you are reading or saying, but God’s Word will minister to his spirit. God promises to bless wherever His Word is sent. (Isaiah 55:11) So let’s send the Word into the children that they might be blessed!
